The peeps behind the pokes

Tiny Trace Studio is a female-owned and operated tattoo and piercing studio built around good art, good people, and a space where everyone feels welcome.

Our team brings different styles, specialties, and personalities to the studio, which means there’s a little something for everyone here. Whether you’re getting your first tattoo, adding to a collection, getting pierced, or coming in with an idea you’ve been sitting on for years, we want you to feel comfortable from the second you walk through the door.

Jackie

Owner + Tattoo Artist

Tiny Trace Studio started with Jackie and a love for creating tattoos that feel personal, intentional, and genuinely exciting to wear.

Jackie specializes in blackwork, fine line, and detailed black & grey work, with a particular love for anything botanical, whimsical, spooky, weird, or just a little unhinged. She also takes on select color pieces (like glitter tattoos) and loves turning a client's collection of ideas into a design that feels cohesive and completely their own.

As the owner of Tiny Trace, Jackie has worked to create the kind of tattoo studio she would want to be tattooed in: professional without feeling intimidating, creative without taking itself too seriously, and welcoming to every body.

When she's not tattooing, there's a solid chance she's talking about cryptids, collecting another hobby, working on her flower farm, or convincing herself she definitely has time for another project.

Best fit for: Fine line • Blackwork • Black & grey • Florals • Whimsical & spooky designs • Custom pieces

Janae

Resident Tattoo Artist

If you like your tattoos with a little extra personality, Janae might just be your girl. She’s an incredibly versatile artist who can bounce from delicate fine line work to bold lines and bright, saturated color without missing a beat.

She especially loves creating colorful pieces that are vibrant, playful, and impossible to ignore—but don’t let all that color fool you. Janae is also a killer fine line artist and is always down to bring a softer, more delicate idea to life.

Her booth is just as fun as her work, so expect plenty to look at while you’re hanging out in her chair. She brings a creative, easygoing energy to the studio and loves working with clients to turn their ideas into something that feels uniquely them.

When she’s not tattooing, you can usually find Janae hanging out with her animals or spending time with her family. 🧡

Best fit for: Bold lines• Saturated color • Fine line • Illustrative designs • Custom tattoos • Clients who aren’t afraid to have a little fun

Sophie

Tattoo Apprentice

Sophie is Tiny Trace Studio’s apprentice, horror enthusiast, and quite possibly Michael Myers’ biggest fan. If she’s not talking tattoos, there’s a good chance the conversation has somehow turned into Michael Myers, Ethan Hawke, or whatever she’s currently obsessed with.

As she works through her apprenticeship, Sophie is building her tattooing skills, developing her own style, and taking on a growing variety of work. You’ll often find her creating original flash, feeding the gumball machine with new designs, and bringing linework custom requests to life.

And while her tattoo style is still taking shape, her artistic ability definitely isn’t starting from scratch. Sophie is killer with a pencil and especially talented at portrait work on paper, bringing some seriously impressive drawing skills into her apprenticeship. We’re excited to see how that translates into her tattooing as she continues to grow.

Sophie’s apprenticeship is all about learning the craft the right way while getting plenty of hands-on experience along the way. As her skills grow, so will the range of work you’ll see from her—so if you like watching an artist develop their style from the beginning, she’s definitely one to keep your eye on.

Best fit for: Original flash • Gumball tattoos • Linework • Custom designs • Fellow horror lovers

Lyndsie

Professional Piercer • Sparkles & Studs

Tiny Trace isn’t just tattoos! Lyndsie of Sparkles & Studs is our resident professional piercer and the person to see when you’re ready to add a little more sparkle.

She offers professional piercing and jewelry services with an emphasis on quality, safety, proper placement, and making the whole experience as comfortable as possible. Whether you’re planning a perfectly curated ear, looking for new jewelry, or finally getting the piercing you’ve been talking yourself into, Lyndsie is here to help you find the perfect fit.

She’s also your go-to for jewelry changes, styling, and all the questions you forgot to ask before leaving the studio.

When she’s not piercing, Lyndsie is probably redoing her Animal Crossing island for the hundredth time, playing outside with her dogs, hunting for tiny trinkets she absolutely needed, or spending time with her fiancé.

Best fit for: Professional piercings • Jewelry changes • Curated ears • Jewelry styling • Aftercare guidance • Fellow trinket enthusiasts

One of our favorite things about Tiny Trace is that we aren't a studio where every artist does the exact same thing.

Each member of our team brings something different to the table, so you can choose an artist based on the style, work, and personality that feels right for you. What we do all share is a commitment to quality work, professional practices, and treating people like actual human beings.

No intimidation. No gatekeeping. No pretending tattoos have to be serious business.

Just really good art, a welcoming space, and a team that's genuinely happy you're here.
